Adapta Education Inc. is an EdTech startup focused on building scalable digital learning platforms that empower schools, teachers, and parents with data-driven insights to improve student learning outcomes
Problem
At Adapta Education Inc., the challenge was to build a scalable B2B SaaS learning management system (LMS) that could serve both instructors and administrators while also improving efficiency and user adoption. Existing planning and reporting workflows were slow and difficult to scale, creating operational inefficiencies for schools. At the same time, high school students often lacked personalized instruction, as their individual learning needs varied widely. Teachers and parents had limited visibility into a student’s progress across classes, making it difficult to tailor support or adjust teaching methods. Instructors also lacked tools to compare individual performance with class averages or historical trends. This gap highlighted the need for a platform that could simplify operations for administrators while empowering teachers and parents with data-driven insights to track and support student learning more effectively.
My Approach
As the product manager, I drove product strategy by defining the MVP and creating a roadmap with prioritized iterations. To ground decisions in user needs, I conducted 20+ client and expert interviews and used online platforms to gather additional feedback. I built a user testing framework that captured both verbal and non-verbal cues, helping identify pain points and user reactions beyond surface-level feedback. I collaborated closely with the CEO and team to brainstorm features and prioritized them into iterations aligned with business goals.
I translated these findings into design by prototyping the MVP UI in Figma, mapping out detailed step-by-step flows for instructors and administrators. Each iteration was scoped with clear outcomes and tested with users, enabling rapid learning and continuous improvement.

Reflection
This experience was pivotal in shaping my product management skills. I learned how to turn ambiguity into a clear roadmap, guide cross-functional collaboration, and balance technical feasibility with user empathy. Most importantly, I saw how structured discovery and testing frameworks can drive adoption and measurable outcomes — an approach I continue to apply in every product I manage.
